Synopsis for the far Southern CA coast
At 1 PM, a 1033 mb high was 800 nautical miles west of Cape Blanco, OR and a 1010 mb low was centered over Death Valley Nat'l Park. Moderate southerly flow over the coastal waters is expected through Saturday morning. Westerly flow returns for Saturday into next week.
