Synopsis for the far southern California coast

At 1 AM, a 1023 mb high was 1000 NM southwest of San Diego and a
1015 mb low was over northeast California. A large long-period
swell will move through the coastal waters today and Tuesday,
generating hazardous seas for small craft especially near shoals
around San Clemente Island. Weak onshore flow will prevail through
Tuesday, followed by weak offshore flow Wednesday through
Thursday.
