Synopsis for the far Southern CA coast

At 1230 AM, a 1033 mb high was 600 nautical miles west of Cape Flattery, WA, a 1004 mb low was near Needles, CA, and a 996 mb low was 750 nautical miles southwest of San Diego, CA associated with Tropical Storm Elida. Weak westerly flow early this week to become breezier Wednesday and Thursday afternoons with gusts possibly exceeding 20 kts in the outer waters. A mixed swell will cause steep and choppy seas during the day Thursday, especially in the outer waters.
