Breezy and gusty winds are causing hazardous marine conditions across the waters. Winds will continue to increase through the work week with near gale-force gusts possible through Wednesday. More persistent gale- force winds affect the northern waters beginning Thursday, with these winds expected to become widespread by Friday. Very high wind driven seas are expected, between 12 to 17 feet. Winds look to stay hazardously strong through the weekend, but begin to ease into the next work week.
