SYNOPSIS FOR THE SOUTHERN OREGON COASTAL WATERS

Winds and seas for the current north wind event are likely to peak
this evening through tonight. The strong thermal trough pattern
driving this north wind event is expected to lift a bit northward,
weaken slightly, and shift a bit inland Monday before weakening a
bit more Tuesday and Wednesday. However, moderate to strong winds
and steep seas will persist, building further again Thursday as
the thermal trough rebuilds. Marine headlines are likely to
continue in at least a portion of the Florence to Point Saint
George coastal waters area until next Sunday.
