SYNOPSIS FOR THE SOUTHERN OREGON COASTAL WATERS
Gales are
expected this evening and tonight with wind driven seas becoming
very high and hazardous. High and chaotic seas persist Wednesday
then another very strong front is expected early Thursday. Gales
are likely when the next front moves through Thursday. The stormy
pattern looks to continue this weekend into next week.

GALE WARNING IN EFFECT THROUGH LATE TONIGHT


TONIGHT
S gales 35 kt...becoming gales 40 kt in the evening,
then...easing to gales 35 kt after midnight... becoming SW 20 to
25 kt late tonight. Wind waves 11 to 14 ft...building to 15 to
18 ft. Swell W 3 to 4 ft at 13 seconds...building to W 5 to 6 ft
at 13 seconds after midnight. Rain in the evening, then showers
and slight chance of tstms after midnight.

WED
SW wind 20 kt...backing to S in the afternoon. Wind waves
8 to 11 ft...subsiding to 6 ft in the afternoon. S swell 7 to
8 ft at 10 seconds...building to 9 to 10 ft at 10 seconds in the
afternoon. Slight chance of tstms in the morning. Showers through
the day.
