.Synopsis for the southern California coast and Santa Barbara Channel including the Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary and National Park...At 06Z, or 2 AM PST, a 1036 mb surface high was centered near Carson City Nevada, while a inverted trough was along the California coast. Offshore flow with gusty northeast winds will continue through late Tuesday night. A storm system will approach from the south impacting the coastal waters with hazardous boating conditions Wednesday into Thursday.
