.Synopsis for the southern California coast and Santa Barbara Channel including the Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary and National Park...At 06Z, or 10 PM PST, a 1042 mb surface high was centered over Idaho, and a 1007 mb low of 1010 mb was about 875 NM SW of Point Conception. Offshore flow with gusty northeast winds will continue through late Tuesday night. A storm system will approach from the south impacting the coastal waters with hazardous boating conditions Wednesday into Thursday.
