SYNOPSIS FOR NORTHERN CALIFORNIA WATERS
.South winds have increased ahead of an approaching low pressure system. The strongest winds are expected around and south of Cape Mendocino overnight. Isolated gale force gusts are possible south of the Cape. Southerly winds will change abruptly to northwest on Monday as a strong cold front moves through the waters. Gale conditions will develop in the southern waters Monday.
