SYNOPSIS FOR NORTHERN CALIFORNIA WATERS
A long period westerly will continue to result in hazardous seas for smaller crafts through this evening. Northerlies will increase to gentle to moderate breezes today through Tuesday, especially south of Cape Mendocino. Winds then strengthen to strong breezes on Wednesday, with the strongest winds across the outer waters. Hazardous seas for small craft will likely continue into Thursday as strong breezes and large steep northerly waves continue, especially in the outer waters.
