SYNOPSIS FOR PASCAGOULA TO ATCHAFALAYA RIVER OUT 60 NM

The center of Tropical Storm Bertha will continue to move west along the Louisiana gulf coast away from the local waters today. Wind speeds will diminish later in the day, but it may take much of the day for dangerous conditions to subside, especially over the open waters. Improving conditions are expected for the weekend.
