SYNOPSIS FOR THE MIDDLE TEXAS COASTAL WATERS

The strong cold front will move across the coastal waters just
before dawn Saturday. Strong northwest winds will arrive in its
wake. Gale Warnings have been posted for marine areas beyond 20nm
due to expected frequent gusts above 34 knots. Remaining marine
areas will have Small Craft Advisories due to the strong winds.
Small Craft Advisory conditions will likely linger Sunday morning.
Conditions improve late Sunday through Monday as the surface
pressure gradient relaxes. Onshore flow will increase Monday, then
increase to strong levels Monday night, as surface low pressure
deepens over the Southern Plains. A cold front is expected to move
through the Coastal Waters early Wednesday and result in strong
offshore flow. The cold front Tuesday night, and an upper level
disturbance Wednesday, will contribute to scattered showers
Tuesday night and Wednesday.
