SYNOPSIS FOR THE MIDDLE TEXAS COASTAL WATERS

A Marine Dense Fog Advisory remains in effect through 3 PM today over the nearshore waters and northern bays. Additional rounds of patchy to areas of fog can be expected nightly through Saturday. Otherwise, a generally gentle to moderate (BF 3-4) onshore flow will persist through late in the week. A cold front Sunday morning will result in winds being more out of the northeast at a strong to gale strength (BF 6-7) with seas building to 5-8 ft by Monday. Aside from some streamer showers on Thursday (10-15% chance of rain), the next best chance comes with the cold front, though confidence is low on exact chances.
