SYNOPSIS

Deteriorating marine conditions today as a cold front moves over the waters and high pressure begins to build into the area. A few lingering associated showers this morning will diminish by this afternoon, with winds increasing across the waters and will continue through Friday morning. Winds are forecast to reach 20 to 30 knots, with higher gusts possible. Seas will build in response becoming hazardous to dangerous offshore. A Small Craft Advisory is in effect through Friday morning, with quieter boating weather returning for Saturday before another front arrives on Sunday, favoring another period of potentially hazardous marine conditions.
