Synopsis for Eastern North Carolina coastal waters

Strong southwesterly winds develop this evening on the Gulf Stream waters south of Oregon Inlet and last through Wednesday morning with lighter winds noted along the cooler inland and northern coastal waters. A return to lighter winds across all waters starting around Wednesday afternoon and persistsing through Thursday, then increasing winds on Friday into Saturday ahead of strong cold front.
