A cold front will approach and move through the local waters today. Scattered showers will be possible across the local waters out ahead of the front throughout the day. Isolated thunderstorms will also be possible mainly across the Atlantic waters. Behind the front, winds and seas will rapidly increase bringing hazardous marine conditions to the local waters heading into this afternoon and early next week.

Gulf Stream Hazards: Northwest winds increasing to 20 to 25 kts this afternoon with seas building and ranging between 7 to 9 feet tonight through early next week.
