.Synopsis for the coastal waters of south coastal South Carolina and north coastal Georgia... Generally benign conditions expected across the coastal waters today. A strong cold front will cross the area tonight. Gusty west- northwest winds and building seas should develop in the wake of the cold front this evening through Thursday night. The center of a large area of high pressure will build over the region Friday and Saturday. Another strong cold front is forecast to push across the area on Sunday.
