.Synopsis for the coastal waters of south coastal South Carolina and north coastal Georgia... Marine conditions will continue to gradually improve today, with high pressure expected for the rest of the work week. A dry cold front is expected to push across the coastal waters Friday night into Saturday. Overnight into Saturday, winds are forecast to shift to become out of the northeast with gales across the nearshore and outer Atlantic waters. Wave heights in excess of six feet may remain across a portion of the nearshore waters through Sunday.
