SYNOPSIS FOR THE TIDAL POTOMAC AND MD PORTION OF THE CHESAPEAKE BAY

High pressure will remain overhead today. A period of southerly channeling may result in brief Small Craft Advisory conditions Tuesday afternoon and evening, but given the short duration it may be best handled with a Marine Weather Statement. High pressure will shift to the south the second half of the week. A weak cold front will drop southward Thursday into Friday, then a stronger cold front will approach from the north Saturday.
