Low pressure deepens as it lifts north through the Canadian Maritimes today. Westerly winds in the wake of this low will gust to gale force through this morning. Colder air moving over the waters will also bring moderate freezing spray. Winds drop below gale force this afternoon, but will remain gusty enough for conditions hazardous to small craft through Saturday.
