Synopsis for Massachusetts and Rhode Island coastal waters

Low pres shifts east of the region tonight as it intensifies. This increasing pressure gradient will result in Gale forecast NNW winds developing by daybreak Wed and continuing into the afternoon. High pres builds in from the west late Wed into Wed night. This will be followed by a strong cold front late Thu into Thu night. A wave of low pres should then pass to our south late Fri into Sat with a ridge of high pres building in from the west by Sun.
