West central North Atlantic continental shelf and slope waters beyond 60 nm to 250 nm offshore, including south of Georges Bank from 1000 fm to 250 nm offshore.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS
Developing low pressure will move NE over the SE portion of the waters later today or this evening, then continue to track NE and pass near or just E of the outer waters tonight into Thu while strengthening. The strengthening low will pass NE of the area late Thu into Thu night. A second cold front will move E across the region Thu into early Fri. High pressure will build over the area late Fri into Sat, then shift E of the region Sat night as a cold front moves SE toward the New Jersey coast. The cold front will move E and SE over the N waters Sun into Sun night as high pressure continues over the central and S waters.
