West central North Atlantic continental shelf and slope waters beyond 60 nm to 250 nm offshore, including south of Georges Bank from 1000 fm to 250 nm offshore.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS
High pressure persists over the N and central waters this evening, with a warm front over the S waters. The warm front gradually moves N tonight through Sun, being over the N waters by Sun night as a cold front approaches from the W. The front should stall just N of the area Sun night as low pressure moves E along the front, and the cold front moves E to the S of the low. Low pressure and the cold front should pass E of the waters during Mon and Mon night. Weak high pressure then builds over the area Tue. Another cold front approaches the waters from the W Tue night, moving into the waters Wed, and stalling over the S portions Wed night through Thu night. High pressure builds over the N and central areas behind this front.
