New England continental shelf and slope waters from 25 nm offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New England.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS
A strong cold front will move E across the waters today. A series of surface troughs will then move through the area tonight and Fri. High pressure will build in late Fri and Fri night. As high pressure moves E Fri night, a warm front will approach from the S. The warm front will lift N across the area Sat, then be followed by another cold front moving E across the waters Sat night. The front will then stall over or near the waters Sat night and Sun. Low pressure will move NE along the front Sun, passing near or just S of the waters Sun night. A weak high pressure ridge will move quickly E across the area Mon, followed by another cold front Mon night.
