SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS
A warm front moves N into the waters today as high pressure shifts E. Intensifying low pressure moves NE along the front over the S waters tonight. A surface trough moves S over the area behind the low Sat, then high pressure builds across the area Sat night. Low pressure moves off of the Carolina coast Sat night, with the low broadening and strengthening as it moves slowly NE off of the East Coast Sun through Mon night. Mariners should monitor later forecasts for possible avoidance needs. A series of surface troughs moves over the area behind the low Mon night through Tue night.
