New England continental shelf and slope waters from 25 nm
offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS
A cold front extending NE from
the southern New Jersey coast this morning, will pass SE of the
waters by later today. A strong high pressure area will build SE
across New England and toward the coast later today through Sun
night while a series of lows pass SE of the area. The strong high
will remain just inland Mon into Mon night, and then weaken and
move S over the SE states Tue and Tue night. Hurricane Teddy is
expected to reach a position near or just E of Bermuda Sun night,
then track northward Mon into Mon night, pass E of the waters Tue,
and then reach Nova Scotia Tue night as it becomes a strong
post-tropical cyclone. Long period E swell from Teddy will move
into the waters Sun, and persist into Tue night. For further
