New England continental shelf and slope waters from 25 nm offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New England.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS
Low pressure troughs will move E and SE over the area today as a strong cold front moves well off to the E of the waters. A weak high pressure ridge will move E over the region tonight. A warm front will approach from the S early Sat and lift N over the waters late Sat into Sat night. A cold front move E and SE into the area later Sat night into early Sun. The front will stall just E of the area during Sun as intensifying low pressure tracks NE along the front and passes just SE and then E of the area Sun night. A weak high pressure ridge builds in again early Mon, followed by the next strong cold front that will reach the coast late Mon, and then move over the waters Mon night. Surface troughs will move SE across the area Tue into Tue night with high pressure building in from the W later Tue night.
