New England continental shelf and slope waters from 25 nm
offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS
Low pressure will approach
from the SW tonight while a high pressure ridge weakens over the
northern waters. The low will remain to the S of the waters Mon,
and then stall and weaken Mon night into Tue. A warm front will
lift NE over the waters Tue night, while a cold front approaches
from the W as low pressure tracks from the Delmarva NE to near
the southern coast of Maine. The cold front will move E over the
waters later Tue night into Wed as the low moves further NE from
the coast of Maine into far SE Canada. High pressure will build
E and NE over the region Wed night, and then persist into Fri.
Another cold front will approach from the W later Fri and move
into the waters Fri night.
