New England continental shelf and slope waters from 25 nm
offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS
High pressure will give way to
a cold front approaching from the NW today. The front will pass
SE over the waters tonight into Wed as the high slides west over
the eastern US. Another area of high pressure will build over the
waters Wed night, and persist through Sat night. A broad area of
low pressure will slowly organize well to the E Thu night into
Fri and remain SE of the region through Sat night.
