SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS
A stationary front across the Gulf
of Maine this morning will weaken and dissipate later today. Low
pressure over the Mid-Atlantic will enter the western waters
today, while a second low approaches the region from the S. The
two lows will merge and strengthen over the far southern waters
tonight, and then drift back S of the region Wed. The strong low
will then track slowly SE of the area Wed night through Thu
night. A high pressure ridge will build SE towards the coast Thu
and Thu night, then pass E across the region Fri. A cold front
will move E over the area Fri night and Sat, then track E of the
waters Sat night as the associated low pressure center passes NW
of the region.
