Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS
A front stalled just S of the area today and tonight returns N across the waters as a warm front Fri. High pressure passes N and then NE of the region Thu into Fri. A cold front will move SE across the waters late Fri night into Sat, then returns back to the N as a warm front Sun. Yet another cold front will move offshore Sun night into Mon with a reinforcing cold front slated to move across the waters Mon night.
