New England continental shelf and slope waters from 25 nm
offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS
A cold front just S of the
area this evening will drift S and weaken tonight and Sun as
weak low pressure tracks E along the front. A high pressure ridge
over the waters this evening will persist into Sun, then shift E
of the area Sun night. A cold front will approach the area from
the NW and N Sun, move SE across the waters Sun night into Mon,
then pass S of the area later Mon into Mon night. High pressure
will build across the region Mon night through Tue, and move E
of the waters Tue night into Thu night while maintaining a weak
ridge across the region. A warm front will lift NE over the
waters Tue night into Wed night as a cold front approaches from
the NW. The cold front will then stall just N of the waters Thu
and Thu night while weakening.
