Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS
Low pressure SE of the waters this morning will rapidly intensify E into the N Atlantic tonight and Fri. A low pressure trough will move SE across the area later today and tonight. High pressure will build over the region Fri through Sat night, then shift W along the inner portions Sun through Mon night. Low pressure will move offshore the Delmarva coast Sat night, then move slowly E while passing just S of the area Sun and Sun night. The low will stall SE and E of the area Mon and Mon night while intensifying and broadening.
