SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS
A reinforcing cold front will
move S across the waters tonight followed by another cold front
or low pressure trough Tue. A strong high pressure ridge will
build E toward the region late tonight, move offshore Tue, and
then weaken over the waters Tue and Tue night. Low pressure will
develop and pass S of the waters Tue night, strengthen to the SE
and E of the waters Wed, and then move well E of the area Wed
night and Thu while intensifying. High pressure will slowly
build E over the region late Wed and Wed night, and then weaken
while shifting E of the area Thu into Thu night. Yet another low
will develop S of the waters Thu and Thu night while tracking NE
towards Georges Bank. The low will pass just SE of the waters
Fri, and move off to the E of the area Fri night as a high
pressure ridge builds E towards the coast. Another low is
expected to develop off the SE United States Fri night, remain
to the S and SE of the area early Sat, and then strengthen Sat
and Sat night while moving off to the NE.
