Synopsis for Hawaiian coastal waters

High pressure north of the state will be weaker the next few days and allow for moderate trade winds. Trades are forecast to restrengthen to fresh to locally breezy levels by the end of the week and into the weekend as high pressure strengthens north the area once again.

An upper level disturance west of the state will bring moisture and instability west of Kauai today and allow for isolated thunderstorms.
