SYNOPSIS FOR THE EASTERN GULF OF ALASKA

A weakening front continues over the Panhandle dissipates through this morning. Winds across the Gulf shift from NW-ly to SW-ly as cold air surges in from the west. Strongest inner channel winds remain near Cross Sound and Lynn Canal Fresh to Strong Breeze.
