SYNOPSIS FOR THE EASTERN GULF OF ALASKA
A front sweeping south across the panhandle this afternoon has brought strong winds to the inner channels and outer coastal waters. Winds within Lynn Canal will remain elevated tonight and begin to trend downward Thursday morning. Seas between 8 to 11 feet in the Gulf and outer coastal waters begin to diminish overnight into Thursday before the next system moves north into the Gulf on Friday.
