SYNOPSIS FOR THE WESTERN GULF OF ALASKA

A 988 mb low at 59N 142W on Wed morning tracks inland by Wed afternoon. A second low at 52N 160W at 994 mb Wed afternoon enters the western Gulf and moves to 57N 150W at 998 mb Thu afternoon before dissipating Thu evening. A North Pacific low arrives at 57N 156W at 980 mb Fri morning.
