SYNOPSIS FOR OUTSIDE WATERS

Thursday night southeasterly winds increase in the central inner channels before quickly becoming north Friday morning. Lynn Canal builds to gale force by Friday afternoon, with gale force winds spreading south into Saturday morning. Gales to strong gale force winds and freezing spray persist over many passages through the weekend. Monday afternoon outflow winds begin to subside.
