SYNOPSIS FOR NORTHWEST COAST

Low pressure over mainland Alaska extends W over the Southeast
Chukchi Sea and Bering Strait. High pressure extends S over the
Western Chukchi Sea and Chukotka from a 1036 mb high near the
North Pole. A 994 mb low will move into the Southern Bering Sea
near Adak tonight, and to the Pribilof Islands by Tue evening as
it deepens to 988 mb. A low N of Barter Island will move SW to
Wainwright late this evening at 1015 mb, the continues SW and
merges with the Bering Sea low as it moves to Kuskokwim Bay.
