SYNOPSIS FOR ARCTIC COAST

A 1034 mb high is 500 nm NW of Utqiagvik with high pressure
pushing SE to the Brooks Range and E across the Arctic Plain. A
1004 mb low has moved to Banks Island and a weather front has
pushed W over the Eastern Arctic Coast. Sun afternoon the high in
the Arctic will be 400 nm N of Wrangel Island at 1032 mb, with a
1024 mb high in the central Arctic Plain, and a 1019 mb high near
Old Crow YT with the weather front remaining near the Eastern
Arctic Coast.
