Station 41002 went adrift on 12/04/2008 and the last report from its moored position was at 1842Z.  The buoy has been recovered as of 04/01/2009.  This buoy will be restored to service when it can be worked into the schedule.  When the service date is known, it will be posted in the maintenance report.

Right whales are active off SC.  Speed restrictions of 10 knots apply to vessels 65 feet or greater in specific areas and times along the U.S. East Coast.  It is illegal to approach right whales within 500 yards.  To learn more about right whales and rules protecting them, go to: http://rightwhalessouth.nmfs.noaa.gov
