Station 41001 - Search and Rescue Data

EAST HATTERAS - 150 NM East of Cape Hatteras
34.561 N 72.631 W (34°33'40" N 72°37'50" W)

Station 41001 went adrift on 4/9/2013 and the last report from its moored position was at 0500Z.  It has since been retrieved.

The NOAA National Data Buoy Center has deferred annual maintenance for buoys and C-MAN stations until further notice. We hope to resume maintenance of the coastal and offshore weather buoys and C-MAN network next year, pending full funding of the President's FY14 budget.
