Synopsis for the far Southern California coast

At 1 PM, a 1023 mb high was 900 nautical miles west of San Diego, and a 1010 mb low extended from Gila Bend south through the Gulf of California. Weak onshore flow will prevail through Sunday, but will be a little stronger this afternoon through tonight, with gusts around 20 knots in the vicinity of San Clemente Island.
