AND WESTWARD 60 NM.

SYNOPSIS FOR THE SOUTHERN OREGON COASTAL WATERS

GALE CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING BEYOND ABOUT
5 NAUTICAL MILES OF THE COAST SOUTH OF PORT ORFORD AS THE THERMAL
TROUGH ALONG THE COAST STRENGTHENS. THESE GALES WILL CONTINUE WEST
OF 10 NAUTICAL MILES OF THE COAST OVERNIGHT. WINDS AND SEAS WILL
BECOME HAZARDOUS TO SMALL CRAFT IN MOST OTHER AREAS, EXCEPT AT
SHELTERED LOCATIONS ALONG THE IMMEDIATE COAST. THE THERMAL TROUGH
WILL WEAKEN SOME ON WEDNESDAY WITH ADVISORY CONDITIONS CONTINUING.
THE THERMAL TROUGH WILL MOVE INLAND WEDNESDAY NIGHT THROUGH THURSDAY
AS HIGH PRESSURE MOVES THROUGH RESULTING IN MUCH LIGHTER WINDS AND
SEAS. THE FIRST IN A SERIES OF COLD FRONTS WILL ARRIVE FRIDAY WITH
MORE EXPECTED THIS WEEKEND INTO NEXT WEEK.
