SYNOPSIS FOR THE SOUTHERN OREGON COASTAL WATERS
A THERMAL
TROUGH ALONG THE COAST AND HIGH PRESSURE CENTERED OFFSHORE WILL
PERSIST INTO TUESDAY THEN GRADUALLY STRENGTHEN WEDNESDAY THROUGH
FRIDAY. THIS WILL CONTINUE MODERATE NORTH WINDS AND STEEP WIND
WAVE DOMINATED SEAS. THE STRONGEST WINDS WILL OCCUR DURING THE
AFTERNOON AND EVENING HOURS IN THE OUTER WATERS SOUTH OF CAPE
BLANCO. WINDS MAY INCREASE FURTHER THURSDAY AND FRIDAY WITH
MODERATE TO STRONG WINDS AND STEEP TO VERY STEEP SEAS POSSIBLY
DEVELOPING.
