SYNOPSIS FOR LOWER ATCHAFALAYA TO HIGH ISLAND TX OUT 60 NM

BRISK NORTHERLY WINDS WILL OCCUR NEAR AND JUST BEHIND THE SURFACE
LOW MOVING ACROSS THE NORTHERN GULF TODAY. THE NORTHERLY WINDS WILL
DECREASE SOMEWHAT THIS MORNING AS THE LOW MOVES OFF TO THE EAST.
HIGH PRESSURE WILL BUILD IN BEHIND THE LOW...WITH OFFSHORE FLOW
FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE WEEKEND. SOUTHERLY WINDS WILL DEVELOP ON
MONDAY AS HIGH PRESSURE MOVES OFF TO THE EAST...AND STRENGTHEN ON
TUESDAY AS LOW PRESSURE DEVELOPS OVER THE PLAINS. A COLD FRONT
SWEEPS ACROSS THE WATERS LATE TUESDAY WITH NORTHWEST TO WEST WINDS
BEHIND THE FRONT THROUGH MID-WEEK ALONG WITH INCREASED SEAS.
