OF THE WAVES...ALONG WITH OCCASIONAL HEIGHT OF THE AVERAGE HIGHEST

SYNOPSIS FOR THE MIDDLE TEXAS COASTAL WATERS

A WEAK COLD FRONT MOVED INTO THE COASTAL WATERS
OVERNIGHT...RESULTING IN WEAK NORTHEAST WINDS TODAY. A MUCH
STRONGER COLD FRONT WILL MOVE ACROSS THE COASTAL WATERS LATE TONIGHT
AND TRIGGER ISOLATED TO SCATTERED SHOWERS. A VERY STRONG NORTH
WIND WITH GUSTS IN EXCESS OF GALE FORCE AND MUCH COLDER CONDITIONS
ARE EXPECTED AFTER THE FRONTAL PASSAGE BEGINNING EARLY THURSDAY
MORNING. SEAS WILL ALSO BECOME HIGH WITH STRONG OFFSHORE FLOW
THURSDAY AND THURSDAY NIGHT. OFFSHORE FLOW WILL WEAKEN THROUGH
FRIDAY AS THE HIGH PRESSURE RIDGE MOVES EAST. WEAK TO MODERATE
ONSHORE FLOW RETURNS BY THE WEEKEND.
