SYNOPSIS FOR THE MIDDLE TEXAS COASTAL WATERS
ONSHORE FLOW WILL
INCREASE TO MODERATE LEVELS THIS AFTERNOON INTO TONIGHT...AS A TROUGH
OF LOW PRESSURE DEEPENS OVER THE LEE OF THE ROCKIES IN RESPONSE
TO AN UPPER LEVEL STORM SYSTEM EXPECTED TO STAY WELL NORTH OF
SOUTH TEXAS. AS THE SYSTEM MOVES EAST ON THURSDAY...THE SURFACE
TROUGH WILL APPROACH THE RIO GRANDE...RESULTING IN A RETURN TO A
WEAK TO MODERATE ONSHORE FLOW. AN ONSHORE FLOW WILL THEN CONTINUE
FRIDAY AND INTO THE WEEKEND WITH SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY CONDITIONS
POSSIBLE BY SATURDAY NIGHT ACROSS THE GULF WATERS.
