SYNOPSIS FOR THE MIDDLE TEXAS COASTAL WATERS

The overall wind flow will weaken and become more variable during
the morning hours as a cold front approaches the region. The
front should quickly push south across the area around midday and
through the afternoon...with moderate to strong north flow
developing in its wake. Wind speeds will strengthen further this
evening and peak overnight with seas building in response to the
stronger winds. Small Craft Advisories are in effect for this
afternoon and through tonight for the Gulf waters. A few showers
and thunderstorms may occur today. North flow will weaken
slightly Monday night. Another cold front will arrive on Tuesday
with offshore flow increasing to moderate to strong levels behind
the front and continue through Tuesday night. Offshore flow will
weaken Wednesday with a moderate onshore flow returning Thursday.
