SYNOPSIS FOR THE MIDDLE TEXAS COASTAL WATERS

A WEAK TO MODERATE SOUTHERLY FLOW CAN BE EXPECTED TONIGHT THROUGH
FRIDAY MORNING...ALONG WITH SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS. A
COLD FRONT IS EXPECTED TO MOVE ACROSS THE COASTAL WATERS BY MID TO
LATE AFTERNOON FRIDAY WITH SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS ALONG THE COLD FRONT. A MODERATE TO STRONG OFFSHORE
FLOW WILL DEVELOP IN ITS WAKE THROUGH FRIDAY NIGHT. SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS CAN BE EXPECTED TO END FROM WEST TO EAST THROUGH
FRIDAY NIGHT...WITH DRIER CONDITIONS ON SATURDAY. AN UPPER LEVEL
DISTURBANCE WILL PRODUCE ANOTHER ROUND OF RAIN ON SUNDAY. THE RAIN
WILL END SUNDAY EVENING AS THE DISTURBANCE EXITS TO THE EAST.
BRIEF ONSHORE FLOW IS EXPECTED ON MONDAY AHEAD OF THE NEXT COLD
FRONT ON TUESDAY. MODERATE TO STRONG OFFSHORE FLOW AND HIGHER SEAS
