COASTAL WATERS FROM STONINGTON ME TO MERRIMACK RIVER MA OUT TO 25 NM

.Synopsis for Stonington ME to Merrimack River Ma out to 25 NM. Low pressure lingers across the Canadian Maritimes through midweek, keeping a persistent westerly flow across the waters. An area of low pressure moves eastward into the Gulf of Maine Wednesday night and strengthens as it moves into New Brunswick on Thursday. High pressure builds from the west behind this low, with westerly gales possible late in the week. A weak area of low pressure moves eastward across the waters on Saturday. The high settles north of the waters this weekend as a larger storm develops off the Carolina coast, which may move up the Eastern Seaboard by late in the weekend into early next week.
