New England continental shelf and slope waters from 25 nm
offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS
Weak high pressure over the
waters this morning moves quickly east ahead of a low which will
move northeast from off the North Carolina coast today. The low
strengthens from late this afternoon through tonight as it moves
northeast of the area by Saturday morning. A weak cold front will
move south over the northern waters Saturday, with high pressure
to follow for Saturday night and Sunday. Weak low pressure will
move over the area from the west Sunday night and Monday, with
another weak high in place Monday night. A cold front approaches
from the northwest Tuesday and moves through the waters from late
Tuesday afternoon through Tuesday night.
