New England continental shelf and slope waters from 25 nm
offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS
A low pres trough will approach
from the NW this evening, and drift E across the waters tonight into
Wed. A high pres ridge will build to the coast Wed night, move
offshore Thu, and shift SE of the waters Thu night. A warm front
will lift N along the coast Thu into Thu night as a cold front
approaches from the NW. Low pres will pass just N of the area Fri
and pull the cold front to the coast. The front will stall along the
Maine coast Fri night, and then lift N as a warm front Sat and Sat
night. Another cold front will approach from the NW Sun and move E
off the coast Sun night.
