WIND FORECASTS REFLECT THE PREDOMINANT SPEED AND DIRECTION
EXPECTED. SEA FORECASTS REPRESENT THE AVERAGE OF THE HIGHEST ONE-
THIRD OF THE COMBINED WIND WAVE AND SWELL HEIGHT.

SYNOPSIS FOR ARCTIC COAST

A RIDGE OF HIGH PRESSURE OVER THE CENTRAL AND EASTERN BEAUFORT
SEA WILL RECEDE EASTWARD INTO THE CANADIAN ARCHIPELAGO BY LATE
TONIGHT AND MOVE FARTHER EASTWARD TUE. A 1001 MB LOW NEAR THE GULF
OF ANADYR WILL DEEPEN TO A 996 MB LOW 100 MILES NORTH OF BARROW BY
LATE THIS AFTERNOON. THE LOW WILL MOVE TO 250 MILES NORTH OF
DEMARCATION POINT BY NOON WED WEAKENING TO 998 MB.
