WIND FORECASTS REFLECT THE PREDOMINANT SPEED AND DIRECTION
EXPECTED. SEA FORECASTS REPRESENT THE AVERAGE OF THE HIGHEST ONE-
THIRD OF THE COMBINED WIND-WAVE AND SWELL HEIGHT.

SYNOPSIS FOR ARCTIC COAST

A 998 MB LOW 140 NM NW OF KOTZEBUE WILL SLOWLY DRIFT NW AND
WEAKEN THROUGH FRIDAY EVENING. A 1000 MB LOW OVER THE BEAUFORT SEA
COAST WILL MOVE NW TO 120 NM N OF BARROW BY EARLY FRI MORNING THEN
WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE NW THROUGH SAT. A 1004 MB LOW NEAR THE GULF
OF ANADYR WILL MOVE TOWARDS ST. LAWRENCE ISLAND TONIGHT THEN
DISSIPATE OVER THE WESTERN BERING SEA FRIDAY.
